An elderly gentleman said to be in his 60's, who was sat beside a church intoxicated. No other details of the victim have been release yet.

Bruke Desalagne, 33, who claimed he was Eritrean in order to game the UK's piss-poor immigration system, and who apparently is actually from Ethiopia is a failed asylum seeker who had his application denied and should actually of being deported.
Crime
Shortly after midnight on the 23rd of July 2025 Desalagne ponced on the victim, who was heavily intoxicated at the time, and dragged him off a bench and took him behind a hoarding on the grounds of St. Johns church in Harrow, before raping the man. The attack, that lasted about 20 minutes, left the elderly gentleman in shock.
A member of the public saw what was happening from her car and contacted police. She also captured footage of the incident, which was later provided to officers. Desalagne was arrested at the scene and charged the following day.
Outcome
During the trial, the court heard Desalagne claimed he had initially been trying to help the victim because he was intoxicated. The jury at Harrow Crown Court found Desalagne guilty of rape after deliberating for just over two hours.
Detective Constable Luke Revill, of the Metropolitan Police, described Desalagne as a “dangerous offender” who had targeted a “defenceless, vulnerable, elderly man”.
The 33-year-old, who required an interpreter throughout proceedings, claimed he was initially trying to assist the elderly victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, because he was intoxicated.
CCTV footage of the horrific attack showed how, every time a member of the public walked by, Desalagne would pause the attack.
Simon Shannon, prosecuting, said "You can see the defendant dragging the heavily intoxicated victim from the bench where he was sitting, and dragged him to the grass area."
Bibi Ihuomah, defending, argued that there was no evidence that a rape had occurred, cautioning the jury against a "knee-jerk" reaction. Desalagne stayed completely still during the trial and maintained this composure as the jury announced their verdict.
Det Con Luke Revill of the Metropolitan Police said "Bruke Desalagne is a dangerous offender who targeted a defenceless, vulnerable, elderly man. Thanks to members of the public alerting the police, he was arrested at the scene, charged the following day and remanded by the courts. We are committed to bringing sexual predators like Desalagne to justice. We would urge anyone who has been the victim of similar offending to get in touch with the police. You will be supported and listened to by officers."
Desalagne is due to be sentenced in the autumn.
